Ed Asner
Narration
Ed Asner was a television legend, the winner of seven acting Emmy Awards. In all, he was nominated 20 times for an Emmy Award, with 17 nods for a Primetime Emmy and three for a Daytime award. As well as being one of the most outstanding and most respected actors of his generation, Asner also made a name for himself as a trade unionist and a political activist.


Stacey Stone
Director, Editor
Stacey Stone has been filming since she took a camcorder to Chennai India to help children orphaned by the 2004 tsunami. Stacey studied filmmaking at Maine Media Workshops. Her first environmental film, MY PLANET, MY FUTURE screened at the Sundance Festival. She joined Pace Films in 2014 and is most fulfilled collaborating with Diane and the team on socially relevant stories and bringing them to the public through the documentary lens.

Diane Mellen
Executive Producer
Diane Mellen, Executive Producer of TOXIC SH!T founded Pace Films, a documentary film company after years working on philanthropic projects. Her first short, THE MAN BEHIND 55,000 DRESSES won the Jury prize at the San Francisco Documentary Film Festival. Her other films have screened at over 43 festivals including: San Luis Obispo International Film Festival, Breckinridge Film Festival, Blowup Film Fest, Portobello Film Festival and Sidewalk Film Festival. Diane's love for filmmaking, and her ability to interview people, listen to their stories, and share them with the world has propelled her to recognition as a multi award-winning producer.

Jerry Deaton
Composer, Mix & Re-Recording Engineer
Spanning 25 years of musical expertise, Jerry’s credits range from re-recording mixer, ADR mixer, dialogue editor to sound design editor, composer, and everything in-between. Recent projects include, Jobs (the Steve Jobs story starring Ashton Kutcher), Animal (thriller channel), Norm’s restaurant commercial, Friday the 13th documentary, Casper van Dien’s “Born to Ride”, “Stiletto” starring William Forsyth and Stana Katic (from TV hit “Castle”), “Eating out: Drama camp.” Jerry is a multi-instrument musician who has the rare gift of supporting the visionary expression of artists and filmmakers while maintaining his own accomplished production knowledge and sensibilities.
Steve Ballok
Production Designer
Steve Ballok is a multi-talented production designer who is from Fairfield Connecticut. A business owner and video photographer, Steve is a graduate of Central Connecticut State University where he studied marketing, fine arts and film. In his spare time he enjoys sailing and cross-country skiing.


Mark Schlagenhauf
Consultant for Pace Films
Mark graduated from Cornell University with a degree in chemical engineering and minor in economics. He worked on numerous projects with Phillips Petroleum, Federal and State governments. Mark has extensive international experience in energy projects. His analytical knowledge assists in the development and research of Pace Films' ongoing projects.
